Mio Kamiya
A Day in Tokyo, 1996
Before smartphones reshaped everyday movement, a day in Tokyo passed through paper tickets, station gates, pagers, CD shops, photo-sticker booths and karaoke rooms. Mio Kamiya is a fictional 17-year-old student used as one human doorway into that physical world.

ONE ORDINARY DAY → ONE LOST INTERFACE
The city was touched, carried and pressed.
The archive follows Mio from home to station, school, Shibuya and back again. The interest is not a dramatic event. It is the vanished interface of daily life: inserting a magnetic ticket, checking a pager, choosing a CD from a shelf, stepping into an early purikura booth, holding a wired karaoke microphone and taking off shoes at the genkan at the end of the day.

RECONSTRUCTION STANDARD
A fictional person inside a researched time.
Mio Kamiya is fictional. The Episode uses public and official material to constrain period details including paper railway tickets and automatic gates, pagers, early purikura and communication karaoke. The exact school, shops, advertisements, conversations and the specific day are reconstructed or fictional rather than documentary records of one real person.
